OUR STORY
What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion. While we never planned on becoming dog breeders, we are so glad that we have made it to where we are today! We love dogs and we hope that our love truly translates into your new puppy.

ABOUT GOLDEN ACRES
Hi! We are Audra and Dale. We are a father/daughter duo who are inherent dog lovers that accidentally stumbled into breeding. It all started in 2017 when I (Audra) purchased my first golden retriever puppy, Macy. I had zero intention of breeding her but the breeder gave us full rights and things sort of fell into place after that. Macy was such a great puppy and family strongly encouraged us to breed her to pass on her sweet spirit and even temperament. Fast forward to July 2020 when we welcomed our first litter of golden retriever puppies. It was such a fun experience that I decided to try another litter in 2022, a litter of F1 goldendoodle puppies. From there, the decision was made to bring on my dad as a partner and expand into what is now Golden Acre Family Farms.

Audra and her husband Jonathan now have four, yes four, golden retrievers. Macy, Indie, Luna and Sadie. Dale has one golden, Ginger, and one goldendoodle, Honey.
Are we actually a farm? Not exactly in the traditional sense. But we have jokingly said we are a dog farm for awhile now so it was only fitting! My dad grew up on a farm as did I for a few years of my life before moving to Sioux Falls. My dad also raises rabbits and chickens and a large garden. Other than that, we are ALL DOG. We truly have such a love for dogs and especially goldens and nothing makes us happier than getting to share that love with you in the form of your next puppy.

We are so happy that you are choosing to expand your family with us and can't wait to get you your new best friend. ◡̈

HOME RAISED,
FAMILY LOVED PUPS
You won't find our puppies locked in a barn or garage here at Golden Acres. We raise our puppies in our home as if they were ours. Because, until you take them home with you, they are!
